List orders

Lists orders newest first, filtered by stage, channel, the days they were opened, table or number.

Read

Paged newest first: opened, then id, descending. Filters combine, and a cursor holds only with the same filters. opened_from and opened_to are business days in the restaurant's time zone, sent together and at most 366 days apart. q is an order number or an outside system's check code, never a guest's name or phone: those never go in a web address, which servers log.

An order carries the name, phone, address and note typed on it, by staff, a guest online or another program; orders:read carries the Guest details caution for that reason. Tips are never in total or paid_amount: tip_amount is the live tips on its payments. See Money and time.

The key does not carry the endpoint's scope.

Fix: Scopes are fixed when a key is made: make a new key with the scope.

403issuer_access_ended

The key's creator has left the restaurant, was suspended, or was removed and invited back.

Fix: Make a new key from an active account.

403issuer_permission_changed

The key's creator no longer holds any permission that could put this scope on a key.

Fix: Ask an owner to restore the permission, or make a new key from an account that holds it.

403permission_required

The key's permissions for this endpoint (its creator's, cut down to the endpoint's scope) do not include what this endpoint, or this argument, needs. The message names it.

Fix: Use a key with the named scope, from a creator who holds the named permission.

422invalid_request

A filter out of range, opened_from without opened_to (or the other way round), opened_from after opened_to, or the two more than 366 days apart.

Fix: Send both days, the earlier first, at most 366 days apart.

422invalid_cursor

The cursor is not an order in this list with these filters.

Fix: Start without cursor, keeping the same filters.
