Good to know

What the preview includes, how it works, and who runs it.

Is it really free?
Yes. There is no checkout in the preview and nothing asks for a card, so there is nothing to cancel either.
Can I run my restaurant on it today?
It’s in preview: explore the sample restaurant, check the figures against your own, and move over when you’re satisfied — the preview terms explain why.
Does Table Buddy take card payments?
It records them. Your card terminal or payment gateway takes the card; Table Buddy records the approved payment and tracks the money in a clearing account until the payout reaches your bank. It does not process cards or provide a terminal.
Can I take my figures with me?
Every report downloads as CSV and prints from the browser, and the REST API reads the menu, orders, stock and reports. An owner can also delete the restaurant and its records.
Who operates Table Buddy?
Workflow Corporation. Table Buddy runs on Google Cloud in the us-east4 region, in the United States, and its database is backed up every day. Commercial plans and support terms haven’t been published yet; the preview terms and privacy notice say what applies today.
